Easter Weekend Fishing

I fished opening day trout season on Owens Creek and Friends Creek. I have never seen so many parked cars and people. At any rate I got 4 Rainbow Trout including one nice fat one of about 13-14 inches. A bigger one tore away at a pool on Friend's Creek. I started out the day at Owens Creek only catching one trout then I drove up to Friend's Creek. A man fishing a pool offered to share the spot and I hooked three Rainbow Trout there including the fat one all on a wooly bugger. Then the trout fishing shut down. I moved upstream and hooked a Palomino Trout then lost it. The fishing shut down and it did not matter where you fished. I heard that a 25 incher was caught at the big rock pool by a lucky angler. Fishing was good and some of the trout are nice sized. Tight lines,
