Blue catfish with tumors

Question from Tylor Kirklin: I was just wondering if you could clear this up for me. My buddy caught this catfish which I'm pretty sure it's a blue catfish, but it has a growth on its head. I was wondering if you can clear this up and clarify that= 1) it is a bluecatfish and 2) possibly tell me what the growth on its head is. Thank you
