Had a great couple of trips this past week on exceptional sized bluegills and crappies at several small public and private venues along the Mason Dixon. Bluegills liked the Jimmy's Skinny Minnie in beige and the skittish male black crappies were busy making beds and not too interested in feeding. I sight fished for them with garden worms and caught fish up to 15 inches. The top bluegills taped out at 10 15/16 and 11 inches, with several '10's in the mix. All of these were released to sustain high quality fisheries for your kids and mine to enjoy.
