Stocking Rishing Sun Pond

We stocked Rising Sun Pond, Howards Pond, and Principio Creek (reopens Saturday) today. At Rising Sun Pond, young 3 year old Garret Gladfelter and his Grandparents were fishing. His eyes lit up when the stocking truck arrived and the fish were released. Not soon after, a tug on the line was felt and he was rewarded with his first rainbow, and a very proud grandpa! Before we left other children and their parents arrived to join in the action. Its nice that the second stocking coincides with spring break for the youngsters.
