Fishing the Potomac near Germantown with a white KVD spinnerbait when this thing destroyed it. At first I thought I got stuck in a log in the currents but then it tried to take my rod from me.

Thankfully I had a stout rod and braided line otherwise it might have caught me off guard and broke off. What a fight. Beautiful fish. My only regret is not having a working scale on me.
