Two Great Days on the Bay - Charter and Kayak

We were fortunate enough to go on a charter boat and on kayaks for striped bass. On the charter boat trip, we left out of Solomons on the Miss Susie. It was a great morning . We caught lots of awesome fish trolling and I was lucky enough to catch this awesome 43" catch and release citation!

On the kayak trip, we spent two days fishing the Upper Bay. One day was calm and beautiful, and one day was rainy windy and rough. I fished from my kayak from 2 feet to 12 feet of water, casting and trolling. Water was about 60 degrees in the morning and got up a few degrees higher in the afternoon. I caught a fat 31.75" striped bass the first day, and a nice 20" striped bass the second day, with lots of schoolies in between.
