So my kayak is out of commission for a bit so I decided to walk the shoreline Tuesday. Picked up a nice largemouth right between two downpours and after some thunder activity. I had been trying out some new (and expensive) spinners and Rapala's with no luck, so I tossed my $1.50 Zoom Watermelon Seed 'dead ringer' on a Texas rig and instantly caught this guy and then had a few bites from some decent pickeral. Beautiful views while hiking the shore to boot!
