Caught Tagged Striped Bass

On Saturday, June 11, 2016 I caught a MD DNR tagged striped bass near Hacketts Bar outside of Annapolis. The fish was caught on cut bunker at about 7 am. The tag number was reported to the fisheries service. DNR response: Thank you Billy for taking the time to call in the tag and fish information, the biologists & managers rely on the public to call in whenever they catch a tagged fish, the data supports a variety of efforts related to the management of the species.
