Carroll County Pond Bass
Type: Nontidal
Region: Central Maryland
Location: Carroll County Pond
After all the rain the weather has improved. This was a day I decided to fish for largemouth bass only. After watching Zona (from ESPN, Bassmasters) talk about casting 318 times to catch a fish I was ready to take my time and work my favorite and most reliable bass bait. I like the bronze and green rubber worm or a black worm with red tail. During the first round, I was on the 8th cast and working it up and down slow. I got a hit, and Bam! Fish on, a nice 2 lb bass on my ultralight rod. He jumped twice and then I snatched him on the bank. I caught 10 total and right at dark, as I was ready to leave, I nailed a good 3 lb bass. It was another good day. My first mate caught 6. Until next time, Capt Big Fish Adventures.
