Personal Best Hybrid Sunfish

Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Local Pond

I had the great good fortune in catching the largest hybrid sunfish of my life last Friday June 10 from a central Maryland farmpond on a 1/4 oz Rattlin' Flash spoon and 2 pound test. The fish was a 'bluegill dominant' female hybrid and was a bluegill X green sunfish cross. She measured 13 1/4 inches and weighed 2.059 pounds or equating to 2 pounds 1 ounce. Unbelievable powerful fight and she was released to maybe fight again some day. DNR question...are you aware of any other hybrids caught and documented in the state that were of this size?
