C&O Canal Report

I went fishing for bass on the C&O Canal at Swains Lock June 28. Caught lots of little 10-12" bass and 1 decent one of two pounds. Action was good on plastic worms though the bass would not bite on anything else. Hooked one of about 3 pounds but lost it. BTW I did see a snakehead of about 4 pounds. I tossed my plastic worm towards the fish but no luck-hoping for dinner. Weeds are starting to grow and there should be more cover in a few weeks. All bass were released. Tight lines.
