Spotted Hake from the Choptank River Bridge

William Ruttinger caught this spotted hake at the Choptank River Bridge Pier (Bill Burton Pier). Hake are seasonal vistors to Maryland's portion of the Chesapeake Bay. Most hake in bay waters are small, sub spawning size which migrate out to deep sea waters when they mature.
