Hello from southern MD,
This past week I had the chance to travel down to Salisbury. I had some obligations with my family, but in between completing those, I took the opportunity to hit the water. I had read about a pond just south of Delmar called "Williams Mill." I drove to the area and found a spot where I could pull off the road far enough to park and unload the kayak. Being an Eastern Shore pond I figured I was in store for lots of bluegill, crappie and largemouth. I also figured I'd find a chain pickerel or two as well. Well in my couple of days of fishing there, using small 1/32 oz jigs and small soft plastics, I caught close to 50 fish, including 6 different species, add golden shiner and pumpkinseed to the list. I'm not quite sure but I may have found a new favorite spot, or at least I can add it to the list.
