Easter Sunday Pond Fishing

Type: Nontidal
Region: Eastern
Location: Neighbor's Pond

Fishing in my neighbor's pond has really picked up with the recent warmer weather. My kids caught about 15 bluegills and pumpkinseeds in less than a half hour. Used worms, small floating Rapala and artificial flies. No bass yet but we'll be back. The kids also enjoyed the bullfrogs which have showed up this week, along with the barn swallows and hummingbirds. Find some time and take your kids pond fishing. I am confident that you will have an enjoyable time.
