Largemouth Bass @ Riverside Park

Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Riverside Park

I had a great weekend at the overflow pond at Riverside Park next to Walmart off Monocacy Blvd.

Thursday night after work around 7PM I caught a nice 14" Largemouth, my first good size fish out of this pond since I moved to the neighborhood last summer. Sunday morning eager to catch more I returned to the same spot and landed a 19" beast. It put up a great fight, was super fun to reel it in and it was my personal biggest bass caught to date.

Both fish were caught on a keitech swing impact bluegill flash/chartreuse w/ a 3/0 weighted hook. Both fish were caught along the shoreline where a slight ridge and drop can be seen 2-3 feet out. Good times!!!

1st one with me in the picture is from Thursday the other 3 are from Sunday

Best Regards,
