St Mary's County Snakehead

My name is LaDonna Lepley and I live in Cumberland, Maryland. I caught my 26" snakehead in a small pond where the drain pipe dumps water from the river at St Marys River which is located at 11175 Point Lookout Road in Scotland, MD 20687. My husband and I were there visited my son and his family. I caught the snakehead on July 3rd at approximately 3:30pm. My son also caught a snakehead in the same pond shortly after I caught mine. My son's was a couple inches shy of mine. We killed both of them and below is a picture of the sign at the above mentioned park as well as a picture of the dead snakehead. I assure you that we killed both of the snakeheads but I only have a picture of mine after it was killed. We left both fish laying on the bank beside the pond for local wildlife to consume. The last picture may possibly be one taken after my son's snakehead was dead.
