Catfish at Pooles Island

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Central, Upper Bay
Location: Pooles Island

This is a large channel catfish caught on light tackle at Pooles Island in 3 feet of water. (Note the Pooles Island Lighthouse in background). The fish was caught by Joe Fulton. We also caught white & yellow perch and small rockfish. It was a good day fishing on the Chesapeake Bay!
