Conowingo Dam in the Heatwave

You can tell quickly by the water marks exposed on the rocks that conowingo dam is very dry in this heat. Several people were finding relief by wading out to their waists in water and catching rockfish. Sizes from 6" to 21". They seem to be hitting any kind of cast and retrieve artifical.

I however was catching something else, I believe they're a type of Carp? Place was crawling with them.
