Rockfish Trolling

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Central
Location: Shipping Channel

We got out during the afternoon of Easter and we got off to a bad start when a massive cruiser ran over our lines. The bay wasn't crowded so it was shocking that they came that close. After recovering, we began to troll along about the Bloody Point area. We made the choice to try the western edge of the channel, and upon entry the chartreuse umbrella got thumped by this nice 30" Rock. I was thinking perhaps we were on to something, but shortly after the catch, the threat of a storm forced us in.
