Take advantage of September weather
Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Carroll County Pond
September is my favorite month for fishing and my birthday. Even though it is a short month it normally provides many good days of fishing. My first mate has been working very hard to make my "fishing lodge" themed room come to life for my Birthday gift. Here is a picture of one wall. We took advantage of a mild day and good weather to get out to "The Pond". I am now on a mission, someone that does not fish here as much as me caught the biggest bass in the pond. It has to be a full 3 pounds or better. I need to catch that fish before I turn 9. After trying all kinds of baits with not much luck I decided to keep it simple with a good old live worm. Bingo, that was the one. Fish On! I landed a few really nice bass. Another day of enjoying the life god gives us. I am very blessed to have these opportunities................... Maryland is the place to fish!
