I went on a half day morning head boat trip Saturday, September 17th. We caught a large number of spot with an impressive average size for all aboard. What was even more impressive was the number of rare whiting, sea trout and yes sea bass caught. All sea bass were throw backs but not the same for whiting. The largest whiting caught was measured at 13 inches. Blood worms was the most productive bait that day. Oh yes I forgot, we found the croakers too.
