The recent chilly nights and lower daytime temperatures improving bluegill and crappie fishing in central Maryland public and private ponds. We have had success with the Berkley Gulp! 1 inch minnows and a variety of micro-jigs tipped with bait. Fishing them below bobbers for bluegills to 10 inches and crappies from 10 to 14 inches. Look for this to last right up until Christmas if it doesn't freeze up.
