On Sat. Jan. 21 it was very foggy in the morning with temps. In the 40s. I fished the Severn north of Round Bay. Caught a chain pickerel and yellow perch on a Rebel Minnow lure in 3-4 ft. of water. My Rapalas and the Fat A seemed to get some attention too.
I went back on Sunday(Jan. 22) to the Severn River at Severna Park and caught some more yellow perch. They were biting on the Rebel Minnow as well as 1/16oz. Jig with Panfish Assassin grub. Mostly 7-9in. Males but I got one big Female over 12 in. loaded with eggs. They look to be stacking up in the creek early.
