Smallmouth Bass Action is Picking Up!

Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Upper Potomac River

Its only February, but it felt more like April over the weekend. The upper Potomac River is in great shape and has warmed quickly to 46 degrees. With temperatures now over 40, the smallmouth bass action has really picked up. Small tubes and suspending jerkbaits have been taking large bass from slower water behind current breaks.
