Brooke's Rainbow

Brooke Young, 9 years old of Frederick, poses with her monster size rainbow trout caught Monday at Carroll Creek. After catching 4 "normal" size trout she moved to another hole in the creek where she began casting a "superduper" fishing lure. On the 4th cast the large fish struck the lure and the fight began. After the fish made a couple strong runs it was finally landed. The fish was officially checked in at Fox's and weighed in at 11 1/2 lbs and was 28" long. The fish completed Brooke's 5 fish daily limit and was definitely the "catch of the day".
