Hickory Shad and American Shad at Fletchers

The good fishing continues and now the American shad are taking over. I caught more American shad than hickory shad during an evening of fishing at Fletchers Boathouse. The American shad were stubborn fighters and about 18-20". There may be some larger ones out there as well. All shad were caught on shad darts before release. I hope the good fishing continues through May! Tight lines, Richard.
