Fishin' in the Rain, Just Fishin' in the Rain

Good fishing for shad continues at Fletchers Boathouse, though the rain might put a damper on things for some. On Saturday I caught my best American shad ever at around 22" long. This was one of 5 I caught that day. Also caught hickory shad and some white perch. I went fishing again on Monday and it was pretty slow with just a couple of hickory shad and some white perch. People were fishing in spite of a strong rain. Is the shad run over or is it just the rain? Maybe the fishing will be back again once the rain stops. The shad in the picture was taken on Saturday.
