Black Crappie at Broadford Lake

The black crappie fishing at Broadford Lake is just starting to heat up - I caught a 1/2 dozen recently just using a GULP minnow on a Trout Magnet. The black crappie fishing should continue to improve within the next week as water temperatures increase. Other fish species are biting as well in Broadford Lake - rainbow trout , yellow perch, sunfish, largemouth bass - and even striped bass from our fingerling stockings since 2008!
