Type: Nontidal
Region: Western
Location: Garrett County trout stream
I caught and released this native brook trout (approximately 12") in an upper section of a Western Maryland trout stream (secret location). Water levels were still up a bit, but clarity was good and the bite was on. I caught about a half dozen brookies in a little over an hour. The others were much smaller. I was single hook fishing with flattened barb to ease the release process. I used a Trout Magnet with no bobber or split shot, tipped with a tiny section of garden worm.
