Another great hickory shad outing a week ago with more fish than I cared to catch.
Lots of small bucks huddling around large females, erupting into large splashy displays from time to time. Most active from first hints of light until about 11 a.m. and as the sun starts its descent in the evening. An overhead view from the pumping station road and Stafford Bridge revealed large shoals of hickories moving up the creek.
