Happy Birthday Brady!

My son, Brady A. Dalgo, caught at 25 1/2 inch chain pickeral on his 4th birthday (6/12/17). We always go fishing, and on Monday I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said, "go fishing." After I gave him his new rod as a birthday gift, we went down to our spot. We fish off the bulkhead into Norman Creek in Essex, near our home. We caught a handful of decent sized yellow perch and white perch, and lots of sunfish, but Brady then told me he didn't want to use a worm and bobber anymore. He asked if he could he have a lure like I use on my rod. So I gave him a small neon green panfish spinner he picked, and he cast it out and started reeling it in. When I saw and heard the hit I couldn't believe it, and his rod bent and nearly pulled from his hands. He just kept reeling and pulling how I taught him and after a few minutes of fighting we saw it break the surface about a foot out from the bulk head. I grabbed the net, and we pulled it in. He was so shocked, and so excited. He couldn't believe this "Giant" fish he caught.
