Smallmouth Bass

These 4 fish were caught on the 23rd of April. The temperature was approximately 63 degrees Fahrenheit, and due to historical trends we were hoping to see smallmouth bass of a larger stature. In these photographs I am smiling not for the size of the fish, but for the social norm of the gestures that are appropriate whilst having your photograph taken. We were unsuccessful in our bid to catch larger fish yet were very successful at catching the diminutive sized fish during the day. Throughout the course of our fishing expedition we only laid eyes upon one larger smallmouth bass.
