Adam's Big Carp

I caught and released my personal best Common Carp with this 25.5lbs fish at 4:20pm on August 11th in the Patapsco River. I had just learned how to tie a hair rig by watching European Carp fisherman on Youtube and it paid off within a matter of hours. I cast only about 25 feet from shore under overhanging branches in a spot I had never fished before. The size 4 hook kept me tied into this beauty and you can bet I'll be back to try to beat my personal best. The most rewarding part of the whole thing was inspiring my 4 year old son to try to catch a fish that outweighs him. ????????????
