The family spent a few hours chicken-necking on Cuckold Creek in St. Mary's on Sunday and caught about a dozen crabs in two hours. That's not including about another dozen or so that got away since the main netters were 2, 6, 8, and 11 years old! Luckily their uncle had some fresh crabs on hand to steam up with their catch and everyone enjoyed a crab feast afterwards, a true Southern Maryland tradition! No fish wanted to bite that afternoon but an eel was willing to spice things up.
