The two main reasons I wanted to catch snakeheads are: first, I hear they are great tasting, and second, as revenge to frogs I lost to them while bass fishing. I mentioned that while chatting with another angler at Lake Allen. The guy I was chatting with advised me to go to Schoolhouse Pond. Turns out his advice was spot on. I caught this 4.78 pounder shortly after arriving at Schoolhouse Pond. It was caught it on a soft paddle tail swimbait on 50lb test braid. One of the strongest fighting fish Ive ever caught, unfortunately they just dont belong here!
