Striped Bass Trip

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Central
Location: Chesapeake Beach

We caught two nice rockfish in 52 feet of water off of Chesapeake Beach on Saturday afternoon when the water started moving again. The fish were hooked in about 25 of water. We used Penn reels with big bug eyed lures as baits. One fish was 38 and the other was 36. We left out of Rockhold Creek in Deale. It was slow late in the morning on a slack tide but picked up later in the afternoon when the water started moving again. It was a perfect day for boating. Low humidity and no bugs! Lenny is really proud of his new six-pack boat. In the first photo is Michael Baxter and myself, Ken Baxter. The second photo is Lenny Kim from Deal, Md.
