52 inch Black Drum from Man-O-War Shoal

My friend, Matt Kropp, and I caught this 52 inch black drum at Man-O-War Shoal last night while trolling storm lures. He bit a 6 inch blue storm lure while using a Frigate 3000 spinning reel with 30 pound braid. We chased and fought the big drum for about 30 minutes before he surrendered. We were then able to lift him on the boat. After a quick measurement and pictures, we revived the fish, by driving around for five or so minutes, until it was able to swim away under it's own power.
