Surf fishing Assateague for red drum is a rather unproductive hobby. That being said, catching one from the beach is the ultimate test of man and gear. After 12 days of fishing I have yet to hook up with anything but sharks and rays, however I have photographed a couple fish caught by my fellow anglers.
