I got this beautiful largemouth bass to bite a plastic worm. Thanks to a stout rod and 50 pound test braid, I was able to muscle it through those thick Lake Allen lily pads. When I landed him, the ease in which the hook came out let me know, if there was any slack, or ease in tension, he was getting off. I also caught two others, 1.66 pounds, and 1.96 pounds, all on plastic worms.
