Mid October on Nans Cove

Hello from southern Maryland

I took the opportunity this afternoon to take my kayak out. The wonderful weather this weekend made it a �no brainer.� Most of my time was spent near the mouth of the Nans Cove. I was using some minnows I had frozen at the end of summer. I ended up catching a few speckled trout and one nice red drum. Each of them were under size so they were released to be caught another time.
