Two days before Christmas I found some nice crappies in a small, central Maryland public lake along with some bass and bluegills. The fish hit on a 1/64th oz hair jig tipped with a half meal worm below a small bobber and drifted over dying vegetation. All fish were released, including nice crappies up to 13.5 inches. Water temperature was 38 degrees
