Light Bite Yellow Perch

I fished between 3 to 6 hours on a tributary off the Magothy River. I caught a 10-12� yellow perch in about 3�-6� water on jigheads with minnows. They still haven�t spawned so I let them all go for another day. I will say they were very very subtle on the take. Slow bumps were the indicator and there were many times I reeled in to reset my line and found a yellow perch was on the line without the bobber moving at all prior to the retrieval. I also pulled the minnow out of the fish�s mouth more times than not because they were so slow on the bite. The 22 inch pickerel I caught wasn�t so subtle and was a nice surprise on light tackle.
