Out in the Cold

I was out at Waysons Corner (Rt 4 and Patuxent River) today for three hours. It is cold outside. Water temps were running 43-44 degrees and weather conditions were slightly cloudy.

I only caught three fish�. well two. The third fish, an 10-12 inch white perch took my swim bait at the boat and I couldn�t set the hook as he was running off.

This yellow perch (pictured) measured 13 inches and was caught on Mepps #4. The white perch that I landed was caught with a night crawler. I didn�t bother measuring the white perch.
