Big Brown Trout

I caught this massive 30 inch, 13.29 pound, brown trout at Loch Raven Reservoir. I used a yellow perch shadow rap slow sinking lure to catch it. *DNR note - This is an extremely impressive brown trout! However, it does not beat the existing state record brown trout, which weighed 18 lbs., ounces , and was caught by Gar Kuhn on August 3, 2001 in the North Brach of the Potomac River at Barnum.
