The water temperature was 60-62 degrees. A beautiful day to be out in the kayak, bright sunshine, definitely a "bluebird" day. Caught seven largemouth bass from 12 to 16 inches on crankbaits (Koppers Livetarget "Bluegill" and "Pumpkinseed") and Culprit Plastic Worms (7.5", crawdad color, texas rigged) worked slowly in 3-5 feet of water.
Locations with submerged wood near the entrance of coves produced best.
Fishing was not fast and furious but every 30 minutes or so a bass would turn up.
