Eastern Shore Northern Snakehead

The action is heating up on the tidal rivers on Maryland's Eastern Shore, especially in Dorchester County. I caught a northern snakehead recently in the Transquaking River on a chatterbait while fishing in the spadderdock. It grows like wildfire and creates a perfect ambush spot for these voracious predators. The one I caught weighed just under 9 pounds and was kept for a meal.
