Wade Casting Pays Off at St. Mary's Lake

Yesterday I went freshwater fishing, after getting skunked on the bay the day before. I took in a few hours of wade casting at St. Mary's Lake. I caught seven pickerel, six largemouth, two crappie and another massive yellow perch, all on swim baits. I didn�t drop the kayak in, so I'm not too sure, but I'm assuming the bass are in full tilt spawn mode. Since the ones I caught were most likely non-breeding (juvenile) fish.
