Fishing South Branch Patapsco Delayed Harvest

The Patapsco Valley Chapter Trout Unlimited wishes to thank Secretary Belton and the Freshwater Fisheries Program for creating a delayed trout harvest segment above Sykesville. Despite high and off-color water conditions from recent rains, trout are taking flies. Patapsco Valley Chapter Trout Unlimited urges local fishermen to enjoy this new area which was stocked in March and April and provided catch and release fishing all Spring. Beginning June 1 anglers may catch and keep five trout daily through the end of September with zero tackle restrictions.
