Snakeheads in C&O canal

We believed these two to be snakeheads based primarily on the fins down their backs. They were seen in the C&O canal between mile markers 21 & 22 about 0930 on 20 June. Two or three other fish of about the same size (estimated 18-24�) and shape were seen a little farther south but were too low in dirty water to identify. We reported this to a C&O bike patrol just after the sighting.
