Nick's 20" Rockfish

Nick and his dad set out from Chesapeake Beach towards Poplar Island. On the way, there were several large schools of ‘silver sides’ but didn’t seem to be any rockfish swimming underneath. Jigs with plastic baits were thrown up towards the rocks and reeled back. This nice 20 inch rockfish took the bait and Nick enjoyed a fight on a light pole.
